Born in Lima - Peru / Canadian

My work regardless which visual art I work in is generally of an abstract nature as opposed to the concept of figurative art . Inspired by the scenes and colours of nature I use a chromatic range of complimentary colours in a delicate manner, giving an amalgam of materials that align and coexist in the same format. My most recent work use vibrant reds, oranges and golds with one figure on one canvas varying from my usual abstract work.

Acrylic shades are pasted to reveal their formal pictorial concept, which goes beyond a simple linear composition, where the colour components are governed by a figurative structure. The viewer is, I hope, left with the feeling of a landscape encoded in a structure that is revealed with soft and high tones creating an optical effect that coexists with its abstract tendency.
