BIOGRAPHY

Born in Lima, Peru,

Arce Plastic Artist, Musician and Sound Designer, who has developed an aesthetic discourse, integrating formalist graphics and musical atmospheres into creative concepts based on a philosophical structure.

He has held numerous individual and group exhibitions in important Museums and Galleries in Peru and other countries; His works are part of public and private collections of Museums, Embassies, Consulates and Cultural Institutions.

Arce, squanders a coverage of his interior landscapes, which are the places of his soul with few lyrical lines, horizontal gestures, like a meditation in movement in the silence of color, painter of the loneliness that embraces us all. Landscapes figure highly in his works.

As an artist has been described as an authentic creator by having a particular vision of the world that is singular and untransferable in its color and stroke.  He summarizes his story on his way of reminding his childhood in front of the sea, between the sienas and blues that exploded in his retina, of his first drawings on water and sand spaces which became his own workshop and home, of his walks through Lima´s streets and the secrets of his heart of those years in Italy, of his journeys in Latin America, on paths of sunny towns and mountains that always sing a pray to the wind and God.
